Who we are and why do it
Our expertise around golf and eating out in Tasmania, is second to none
Tasmanian Golf Experiences has been created by Hobart locals John (JD) and Alix Davis. We are both passionate about sharing Tasmania with visitors and enabling you to experience our state's fabulous golf courses, incredible food and more.
JD is a member of the Royal Hobart Golf Club. He's a keen golfer and has played at some of the world's top courses including St Andrews, Pebble Beach, Bandon Dunes, Lahinch, Royal Dornoch and of course as a local, Barnbougle and King Island many times.
Alix is a food and travel writer for publications including Gourmet Traveller, The Weekend Australian, The Mercury newspaper and Tourism Tasmania. She loves finding new food experiences and sharing them with friends, visitors and readers.
