Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know
-
Why did you start ANOTHER golf tour business and why are you different?Because we are very proud Tasmanians and know there are lots of experiences to do, along with just playing golf! There are many golf tour businesses offering golf tours to Tasmania. What makes us different is our local knowledge of our many hidden gems that the others are not offering. We basically want to ‘show off’ our island. We will curate unique experiences for golfing and non-golfing participants. From private dining with a world class chef or golf lessons with a PGA Tour professional (who has played in multiple British Opens.) Options for unique experiences with your Tasmanian golfing holiday are nearly endless when you book with us.
-
What other destinations do you do golf tours? We focus 100% on Tasmania. There are huge amounts to do and see in Tasmania here, and to offer unique experiences, we need to be up to date with as much as we can. There are also a long list of other 18 hole, 12 hole and 9 hole courses that offer fantasic golf experiences in a variety of places. For example: - Tasmania GC - Kingston Beach GC - North West Golf GC - Ulverstone GC - Country Club Tasmania - Huonville GC - Plus many more! Ask on our enquiry form what we can suggest.
-
What accommodations are available? We work with local hotels, boutique hotels and private homes to provide you with the accommodation that suits your group, and trip goals best. We can arrange a self-catered house that has a fridge full of groceries when you arrive, or a luxurious hotel that’s close to Hobart’s best restaurants. The choice is yours. We are on the ground and always looking out to what is new or on offer!

Can I change my booking after it is confirmed?Once your booking is all set, making changes can sometimes be a bit tricky. It depends on what you want to tweak and the policies of the place you're booking with. We take each change request one step at a time, giving it the personalised attention it deserves. When it comes to upgrades, the sky's the limit! Whether it's upgrading your ticket, adding extra nights, or bringing along more travel buddies, we're here to make it happen. Although you can upgrade anytime, we highly recommend doing it when you book. That way, we can ensure everyone's seated together, and access the best deals and availability for you. Group tours can be cancelled as per the conditions set within the tour terms and conditions.
-
What are my payment options? We accept bank transfers and credit cards. Domestic bank transfers. International bank transfers incur a nominal A$20 service fee per transaction. All card payments incur merchant fees. For Visa and MasterCard it’s 1.5% and for American Express it’s 1.98%. Payment instructions will be provided on booking.
-
What are your payment plans? Our standard deposit for all tours is 20% to confirm your booking. Some experiences and upgrades may require a larger deposit, which we will identify in your quotation. The balance for your booking is due between 60 and 30 days, again dependent on the experiences you are booking. If you make a booking less than 30 days before your date of travel, full payment is required to confirm your booking.
-
What are your Terms and Conditions regarding cancellations and refunds? Our terms and conditions can be found on the website and a PDF is available to be dowloaded. The Terms and Conditions can be emailed to you if requested in writing. Generally a full refund is available if the request is made 60 days or more in writing. Refunds for Experiences may depend on the service provider and those outside of our normal terms and conditions will be noted in your quotation.

Do I need travel insurance? In a nutshell, yes, travel insurance is a good idea to have. We do not sell travel insurance so you will need to organise your own. If you do not have a specialist insurance broker we can provide customers with names of companies we have used before but we make no recommendations.
